Comics Obscura #1 (2006)

I did the cover for the first issue of Comics Obscura, an anthology comic book back in 2006, along with a couple of pages for "Chapter One: The Bank" of a comic named "Bipolar" at the time.

Whatever Happened To Kid Cannon?

Here are all 15 pages for a story I drew back in 2007, called "What Ever Happened To Kid Cannon?" (written by Scott Richmond & published by Young American Comics)

I was given the script by Scott and commissioned by Young American Comics to draw this short story in only around a month 1/2 until deadline, I think it turned out great.

Buy Wild Penny #7 Issue!

The story was about this ex-super hero who outgrew his powers and settles as a high school teacher. We see him on his toughest battle yet... his first date.

In this issue: "Adam, formerly known as teen superhero Kid Cannon goes on an awkwardly pleasant (or is it pleasantly awkward?) first date. (Richmond, McCain)." - Young American Comics

Despoil

Despoil is another one of my abstract artworks from 2004. In summary, it represents fatal ignorance. Or, more specifically, the false comfort found in the avoidance of reality/truth and it's inevitable repercussions that soon follow.

Triune

Triune is an abstract/cubist artwork I did in 2004, it's one of my favorites still to this day. Everyone seems to always ask me the same question, "what does it mean"? Well, I tell them, it represents all three wonders of life.

I'll break it down. The 1st figure represents all science in general which includes branches of math and cold clinical reasoning, 2nd represents the fervor of faith/religion and the reach for immortality, and the last represents the desperation of art and it's commercialized state.

Science/Logic (Left), Religion/Spirit (Center) & Art/Passion (Right).
