Here are all 15 pages for a story I drew back in 2007, called "What Ever Happened To Kid Cannon?" (written by Scott Richmond & published by Young American Comics)

I was given the script by Scott and commissioned by Young American Comics to draw this short story in only around a month 1/2 until deadline, I think it turned out great.

Rebel Status: George W. Bush

Presidents are elected to serve the American people, former President Bush kinda did that I guess... that one time... you know... remember... when he... look a bird! Okay! He totally sucked eggs as president, but he was a rebel nonetheless. He didn't serve the people, he only looked out for numero uno, brushing off all the responsibility of the whole "president thang". W. did what he wanted when he wanted with no care for laws & junk.

I'm sure conversations in the oval office went a little something to this effect: "Sir, shouldn't we be looking for Osama Bin Laden?" "Nah, there's a Ranger's game on right now, hehe, now leave me alone, oooh pretzels..."

Rebel Status: Dora the Explorer

Dora the Explorer is the most rebellious tween ever because she is constantly questioning everything. EVERYTHING! Don't let her cute yellow socks fool you, this Spanglish-speaking little girl is authority's worst nightmare.

She cannot go 3 minutes without asking some type of question. If everyone followed her inquisitive and passionate curiosity maybe we wouldn't be stuck in Iraq, or maybe the Patriot Act wouldn't have passed oh so freely (like juicy wet burrito diarrhea). Rebel Status: Lucifer

This dark angel was exiled from Heaven after challenging God Himself to war. If that's not a rebel than I don't know what is. Lucifer, even after losing the war and befallen into a dark pit, was a very prideful person and a man of principle. He wasn't a fan of the whole "ignorance is bliss" thing and refused to blindly follow authority. For that reason he had many other angels who followed him down to his descent.

After being fallen, Lucifer renamed himself Satan (maybe to reshape his image) and as Satan (in serpent form) persuaded Eve into tempting Adam to question God, (thus casting them out) just as he did in the past. This guy knows that persistence is key. Check out others who have achieved Rebel Status!

Rebel Status: Giant Pandas

Yes, giant pandas. These guys relish in flipping Mother Nature off. Giant pandas are carnivores (meat eaters) but their diet is solely herbivorous (plant) consisting almost exclusively of bamboo. They freely choose to eat that stale-dry-nasty-jank bamboo instead of some sweet succulent meaty meat.

Pandas' digestive systems are still formed to that of a carnivore, this causes them to become derived of essential nutrition and protein. That's why whenever you see a panda at the zoo and he's just chilling there nodding off... he's (bamboo) sticking it to the man... and pooping on himself. America (of the North variety) is a nation of rebels, the founding fathers wanted it no other way. Breaking free from religious and philosophical oppression those powder wig-headed rebels high-tailed it out of crusty old man country (Britain) cruising off on their motorcycles with their middle fingers ablaze and created their own country.

Even the metric system just wasn't cool enough for America (even though it is the standard of measurement in EVERY other single country except for 2 other counties; Myanmar and Liberia). America excels in ethic diversity, religious tolerance, and prepackaged foodstuffs, the rest of the world watches in secret envy. Check out others who have achieved Rebel Status!

Triune

Triune is an abstract/cubist artwork I did in 2004, it's one of my favorites still to this day. Everyone seems to always ask me the same question, "what does it mean"? Well, I tell them, it represents all three wonders of life.

I'll break it down. The 1st figure represents all science in general which includes branches of math and cold clinical reasoning, 2nd represents the fervor of faith/religion and the reach for immortality, and the last represents the desperation of art and it's commercialized state.
